Hiking in the Hitz-Rhodehamel Woods Nature Preserve

Well I guess that last hike was not in fact the last one of the season. We had a warm day today in Indiana and my daughter and I took advantage of that fact and headed to a little known trail near Nashville Indiana. It is in an area called the Hitz-Rhodehamel Woods Nature Preserve and it was a really awesome trail to hike. You can find the video of the trail right here: http://youtu.be/1Y6-wZitEA8

If you would like to find out more information about the groups who maintain this trail. Here are their links:

Hoosier Hikers Council

The Nature Conservancy

The Trail actually took me by surprise in how beautiful it was. It kinda reminded me of the tine I went hiking in the Hoosier National Forest on the Pate Hollow Trail. You can find that video here: http://youtu.be/CfeABa4FhBU

I know I refer back to that video a lot and I guess it is because it is the first time I was actually astounded at how pretty a trail could be
