This past weekend I was invited to an Ohio Backpacking YouTube Meetup. There were about 8 or 9 channels represented and some other folks joining us who did not have channels. We camped at site 3 at Mohican State Park near Loudonville Ohio. I have to say camping with these guys was a lot of fun. We did a day hike, a small skit to razz one of our fellow YouTubers, and had lots of gear talk around a campfire. It was so nice meeting up with channels I have watched and to really get to know the person behind the camera.
I am not necessarily a bushcrafter. By that I mean I haven’t really gotten into it personally but I love watching what others make out in the woods. I do recognize that even as a hiker, it is important to be prepared and to have a quality knife. That is why I chose this Mora. You can watch the video here: My First Bushcraft Knife
I must admit I am not very experienced when it comes to making a campfire. In fact, the last camping excursion I went on turned out to be a nightmare basically because I was not able to make a campfire lol. In this video I talk about how I plan to overcome that for this upcoming weekend overnight camping trip. You can watch the video here: Tip for Fire Making
