This hike was one that I have been wanting to do for some time. It is a relatively easy 6.6 out and back hike with only the first mile or so being the most difficult. The pay off for this hike is three of the most beautiful blue glacier fed mountain lakes you can imagine. I only saw one of them and we also had a surprise visitor on the trail but I would recommend this hike to anyone.
A follow up video to highlight some of the features of the Sandisk iXpand Flash Drive App for iPhone. In this video I go through some of the basic features of pulling photos and videos from your phone to the drive and back again. I also discuss some of the other backup and restore features. The app is free from the app store and is very easy to use. Be sure to check out the related video of how to free up space on your iPhone here: How to Free Up Space on Your iPhone
When I am out hiking and camping, I use my iPhone a lot to take pics and videos of my adventures. On more that one occasion, I have actually received the dreaded “memory full” notification and it was very frustrating because I did not want to delete any of the pics that I had already taken. I have been looking for a solution to this problem for a while and thanks to Amazon.com I have finally figured it out. Keep in mind this solution is more geared to freeing up space while out in the field. I realize that if I were at home I could just download the photos and videos to my computer.
The solution is the Sandisk iXpand Flash Drive 3 for iPhone.
This is the newest version of this device and I found it on Amazon.com at this link: Sandisk iXpand
This weekend I went to my favorite park to try out some of the time lapse features on my IPhone 6. This is short but I think came out pretty well. You can watch the video here: IPhone 6 Clouds Time-Lapse
